Hausala Story

Since the beginning of the nationwide lockdown, Hausala
has provided food packages to support individual,
families and also students who come under their Mid Day
Meal Program and their families. Among them, Prem Raj
Acharya is one of our consistently served beneficiaries.

Prem Raj Acharya is a 31-year old man residing in
Gokarna. He is differently abled and with no income source the
situation turns critical. Despite going through all the
adversity in life, Acharya wants to complete his Masters
degree. Our team was informed about his condition and
his extreme determination to achieve something in life.
We headed to his location to analyze the situation. It was
reported that he was living with his little brother in one
room and with no food to eat. We saw the dire need of an
emergency food relief and some support. FFLN has been
rationing Acharya consistently since the first lockdown. He is happy, grateful
and working hard to complete his masters degree.
Despite the hardships that Mr. Acharya experienced, he
remains thankful for the support that he is receiving from
FFLN and optimistic about his future.
