Our Governance

Our governance philosophy is based on a set of laws, rules and regulations and good practices that enables the organization to perform efficiently and ethically and create value for all its stakeholders.

The organization is committed to the belief that the adoption of the best governance practices will take us a long way ahead.

The roots of our value system and governance practices reflect the culture of the trusteeship. The core philosophy rests on four (4) basic tenets:

Board accountability to the organization and stakeholders
Equitable treatment to all stakeholders
Strategic guidance and effective monitoring by the Board
Transparency and timely disclosure

Honorary President

Prof. Dr. Igor Oblonkov was born in Ukraine. He is known as Patri Das all over the world. He is a voluntarily retired Commando Officer of the Russian army. He is a journalist, professor of psychology, multi-lingual mentor, international motivational speaker, bhakti yogi, visionary, mystic, spiritual leader, social worker more.

Chairperson

Brijesh Lacoul has been the chairperson of Food for Life Nepal since the very beginning. He has been actively been involved with social work and various other organizations to help those in need.

Vice-Chairperson

Bisharad Pratap Shah is a businessman with vision who has been actively involved with Food For Life Nepal right from the start.

Secretary

Deepasna Rana is a mentor, teacher, businesswoman and a person with vision who has been actively involved with Food For Life Nepal right from the start.

Treasurer

Kundan Sharma is registered chartered accountant and a person with a strong vision who has been actively involved with Food For Life Nepal since 2018 AD.
